I love this place, they are very honest, reasonable in price, and they all work as a team, and when that happens your car gets repaired exactly the way they diagnose it, they never say oh, we thought that was the problem, but its really this, and then there goes more money ,more time, that never happens! If your looking for a excellent repair shop go to FAMILIA AUTOMOTIVE! I called Klein first about replacing my starter, and he was totally okay with me buying the part myself. He told me to bring the VIN to make sure I got the right one, which immediately made me feel like he was honest and trustworthy. When I dropped off the car, he even offered to drive me to work nearby really appreciated that. Around noon, he called to let me know he was running a little behind but assured me the car would still be done the same day. I liked that he kept me updated. Friendly, honest, and reliable service. I'd definitely recommend Familia Automotive.

My axel broke on Thanksgiving and I called Familia Automotive the next day. I asked for a quote it was given to me. Towed my car there and bought my own part and they fixed it that same day. Best customer service. Thank you you Familia Automotive.

(Attached pic shows awesome cleaning job the owner did under the hood on my 2007 Highlander: every engine part was covered in black oil residue or dirt from years of driving. This is one example of how the shop goes above and beyond regular maintenance and repairs!) Familia Auto always takes care of me and my family's vehicles! We take both our Toyota Highlander and Matrix in for all our maintenance or repair needs. From oil changes, to tune-ups, to scans when something isn't feeling right with the engine: Klent and his team are knowledgeable and willing to fit us in ASAP! There's so many things we respect and admire about Familia, but at the top of our list is the owner's honesty, fairness, and passion for educating his customers, while taking the best care of their vehicle. He listens actively to your concerns, then asks to inspect the vehicle himself before recommending or charging anything. His prices are fair and despite everything in our city, county, and state going up in price, he still does all he can to save his customers money or time returning again later to do more work. I always walk away feeling like I learned something new too! Never once have we left feeling taking advantage of, or dismissed. We recommended all our friends and family to Familia, and in addition to taking our vehicles there now, my dad and others take their vehicles in to Klent now too. I came in because my check engine light was on, and Klent is very kind and professional to have it checked and found that a battery problem was actually the more urgent concern. What really stood out was their honesty and professionalism they explained everything clearly and didn't charge me a penny for the check. He also checked up on my car further to make sure nothing else major was wrong with it. First of all I would like to thank Klent for blessing me when I needed it the most! I just left my job and my dad tried for a whole week for a regular mechanic but he ghosted us. My pops was over it so he left it up to me I called up Klent for the first time and he didn't even charge me to look at it seen the problem right away and gave me a free honest diagnostic. He took our 4runner in and took care of the problem while adding in a free pressure wash! And changed my breaks for free as well I came in with a leaky axels and loud noises. I left a happy man and a with a brand new sounding 4runner! Great communication honest and amazing work! Honesty, great service, quick turnaround time; I don't know how these guys do it - very few other businesses seem to be able to pull off these same attributes! We had a problem with our air conditioning. Another shop had replaced the A/C compressor pump (and charged us a fortune) just 3 months ago and now the A/C was broken again. Took the truck to Familia Automotive who found that the valves were leaking, they fixed the valves and recharged the A/C system, A/C is working good as new and the price was very reasonable. And we got several text message updates about the diagnosis and repair process so we were in the loop the whole time. And did I mention they squeezed us in the very next day after we called? What a mind blowing experience - a trustworthy shop that acts quickly and charges fairly! One thing to be aware of: I would caution against leaving a vehicle overnight if it is to be left outside in the adjacent parking lot. We saw a vehicle with a smashed window and broken glass all around on the ground. Don't know the circumstances of that event but pretty clear that the surrounding community isn't of the same caliber as Familia Automotive.

Had car troubles with my son's 2008 Infiniti G35. Car was struggling turning on, took it to autozone to test battery, alternator and starter. Car wouldn't turn back on. But the sales associate stated battery was good and alternator was good, problem was probably the starter. She suggested taking it to Familia Automotive which was close by. Called them up, told them the issue, said we should buy the starter there at Autozone so he wouldn't have to mark it up if we got it from him. So we did that and towed the car to his shop. Fixed it same day. Had an issue with the steering column afterwards which he pointed out before we left and told us to bring it back so they can fix it. Took it back and everything is all good. My husband was very impressed with how honest and efficient this shop was. I think we found our auto shop for life. Will most definitely be returning fir all our car issues!!!

If you're looking for a reliable, honest, and affordable mechanic, I highly recommend Familia Automotive! Klent delivers excellent service at fair prices. He fixeded my brakes, steering, and recently my air conditioning. I originally brought my car in thinking the air conditioner just needed a simple recharge, but Klent spent three hours diagnosing the problem. After replacing the valves and coolant, he discovered the air compressor was the real issue. Not only did he not charge me for the diagnostic time ($210), but he also suggested I order the part myself to help save on cost. Great service and integrity all around!

I took my daughters 2003 tahoe to familia Automotive shop for an A/C that was blowing warm air, Klent explaining the steps he was going to do very professional, he replaced the charging valve and charger it with freon in no time, now it blows nice cold air, I'm very pleased with his work, I will definitely return in the future if I have any Automotive issues. I highly recommend if you need any work done.

Clent saved me!!! I was in jam, broken down in Stockton on the way to Reno for my son's baseball tournament. The fuel pump was fried and I had no idea who to call and who to trust. I had to drop it off on a Thursday and pick it up on the way home that coming Monday. After being told no by several shops, Clent reassured me they could get the job done, and they sure did! Despite the disaster start to my trip, it ended with my son and I home in Salinas on Monday in the late afternoon. Enjoying Mom's cooking! I'd have paid anything to survive this weekend for my son, but with Familia I didn't have to go broke. The rate was fair and work was done very well. It was finishing up the moment I pulled in with my rental truck. Thank you to all the hard working folks at Familia! And we won the tournament!

I came here for a quick scan because my transmission was acting up. The owner Klent was extremely helpful and referred me to another trusted shop for my specific problems. Came back after the issues were dealt with for another scan. Even though i hadn't made an appointment he took time out of his busy schedule just to help me and make sure everything was good with my car. He was very thorough and even gave me tips on my battery terminal. Him and his crew are all great people and i'll be recommending this shop to everyone I know.
